GidionTheDead
Ok, I know this is foolish, but how do I make a simple plane? If I try to create a force field, I get a strange effect, because I use a small box for it. How do I reduce its size to zero? Next questions: How can I create a breakable grate (like all those small ventilation shafts in SP)?
Cmdr. Antilles
I think I get what you're saying. Just texture all the other sides of the brush with an invisible shader. 'System/nodraw' (non-solid) or 'system/cushion' (solid) And the grates were func_breakables.
GidionTheDead
Thanks, but actually I was just using the wrong force field skin. Thus, for all the guys out there, who want to incorporate force fields into their maps: Use either the "redforce1" (red) from the Kejin or the "forcefield" (large blue) from the Doomgiver textures. If you strech the textures, you will get better results! And about the grates: If I use funk_breakable, they look like a window in the game (just plain glass and not grate). (I have stopped working on maps (got me >< that close to a nervous breakdown, thus I deleted JKRad again), but someone else might need your help with this.)
