Still Freezing!

Was happy to see the patch finally out when I got home, reinstalled, ran patch, played for 45 min no problem!! Then I went to quit the game and when I got to desktop there was the SAME error, JK2SP.exe has encountered etc etc....

 

I was hoping maybe they just fixed it so it only happened when you quit, I could live with that. But I rebooted, loaded my quicksave, got a blue screen VXD error, hit continue anyway, framerate went way up for some reason but then it froze again.

 

Rebooted again, within 5 minutes I got the same mother%*&*($# error, back to desktop, and a nice bright gamma screen. Wal-Mart won't take this PoS back, but they aren't the ones that robbed me. Either way the patch couldn't possibly fix Medal of Honor which JK2 somehow ruined too.

Waited for the patch, got the patch, fresh installed JK, installed patch, start new game, less than 10 minutes later-crash.

 

I did get an error msg I hadn't seen before tho. Something about user.exe, which is a Windows system file. WTF

I'm still downloading it, but now that I hear this, I am pissed! Raven, HOW COULD YOU NOT FIX A BUG THAT HAS CREATED A 9 PAGE THREAD ON THIS FORUM!?!?! The game freezing all the time drives me crazy! Especially during a duel or somewhere important in single player

 

I guess you've gone back to your Hexen2world ways! Releasing bugs after bugs after bugs and not addressing them. You know, after Elite Force, I thought you had changed! :swear:

I just don't get it I played all night last night without EAX on and it didn't freeze up once. Guess I shoulda stayed up all night and finished the damn game cause I crashed in ten minutes just now. They didn't even mention the freezing problem in the patch, they can't figure out how to fix it would be my guess. I want my money back.
