The forums at http://www.dslreports.com are very helpful. Look for the Linksys forum under equipment....

I didn't know there was a BEFSR41 V.2 ...

I'll try and give you some advice:

You should set the computer that you're running the server on to be on a static IP, i.e. 192.168.1.51 . Of course, if you do this, you will probably need to enter all the other info, such as

subnet: most likely 255.255.255.0

gateway: ... 192.168.1.1

DNS info you need to get from the status page of the router

This way, you won't need to be changing the computer that the port is being forwarded to, as with DHCP the IP address of the computer can change.

I would use the standard port-forwarding, rather than the UPnP forwarding in this case. Make sure that your server is actually running on the default port, or whatever port it is you're forwarding.

Don't know why WinMX would have a problem....

Good luck.

I dont mean to sound negative, but I have completed all the steps Chasten has described with no sucess... Though not since the patch.

I have informed Raven of my issue and gotten a personal responce but they are still testing and I don't even know if they have been able to replicate my issue.

Check the Dedicated Server Forum for more detailed help
