lordkaz Posted May 9, 2002 Share Posted May 9, 2002 Well Im just about done with my second map. Still need to tweak the botroute. Damn bot pathing is a pain in the ass. Anyway; 1. Compression when making the PK3? I know it works using compression, but how does everybody feel about it? Will it really kill framerate or map quality? Most people dont seem to compress, but I can take my 2mb bsp and turn it into a 500k file. Really helps with size when your including your own music file. It seems that all the maps in the assets0.pk3 were compressed. 2. Adding extra spawn spots when in FFA mode. Can I somehow do this? Ive tried adding info_player_deathmatch entities and setting them to notsingle 1. Is there a notduel key or something? Er I guess thats it. Thought I had more questions but apparently not, hehe.
