Guest Jolts
you sure can. Just need to export the model out, and use another program to convert it convert out to obj/dxf use something else like gmax to convert it to the right formats
-wT-
I'm using Maya too, and I'm trying to find out if you can make animations too with Maya, though the only problem seems to be the lack of an XSI importer/exporter for Maya, though I'm not 100% sure if I actually have one. I will investigate more of this later today. If you only want to make models, and just keep the original animations Raven made, then it's easier and just do what Jolts said. Kinja
Uh.. sure... whatever. Use whatever program you want. Its all personal preferance. Usually when someone likes a certain program its because they learned on that program and naturally feel more comfortable on it. If you want easy then use max. It by far has the best box modeling IMHO. I learned on Max but when I started working at Midway, I was forced to learn Maya. For the first two weeks I hated it:( but now I prefer it cause when I try using Max now I'm not used too the old hot keys. Anyway use what you want, it really doesn't matter. You can get the same rsult from either of these programs.
