Zoson
I read in another post that some guys were pulling 120-150fps in jedi knight 2 with their r8500. I'm wondering what you did to get that framerate. I've got the latest drivers (winxp 6071) and i'm running an athlon at 1.8ghz and 512mb pc2700 ddr. The reason why I ask is because at 800x600 with the majority of the detail settings at LOW, i can only pull about 60fps. Help pls! -Zoson

seanconnery
Try turning volumetric shadows off if you have it on. If it isn't, check your display properties to see if you have FSAA (SmoothVision) on.
adorai
You most likely have vsync enabled. Since your monitor only does 60fps, might as well keep the game at that level also. That way other stuff won't slow down while your PC tries to keep pushing 200+ fps during the very intensive firefight, etc..
Zoson
it was vsync, i turned it off and am now pulling around 120fps. my monitor runs at 85hz, so it can display 85fps correct? but anyway, it helped a lot because i was getting massive choppiness during heavy battles online. thanks for the help! -Zoson
