Etz Posted May 10, 2002 Share Posted May 10, 2002 You play on someone elses server. There are two kinds of servers, dedicated and non-dedicated. Dedicated server doesn't have anyone playing it, just a console screen where you type the commands for the server. This is the kind of server which you'll be mostly playing on. Non-dedicated server is a server where the host is also a player. It's not as effective as dedicated and usually mostly used on Lan enviroments and among friends.
