You either need to execute a quick hitting combo up close ( I've seen fast stance forward and back combo hit through a block), or just as before, time your swings to hit your opponent as they are in the middle of their swing. I would like to see a readme that explains the saber combat in great detail from Raven. Sure you can figure it all out for yourself, but I'm lazy . Arrg... beer going to my head.
