Darthskinner007
I need to know if anybody has found out how to use the rain fx yet because I can't get it to work right. I'm working on a Duel map based on the landing pad on Kamino from Episode 2 and it would look so much better if it was raining. If anyone knows how it works please let me know, thanks. TheDarkSide
looks like it's been made to work successfully in single player maps. Multiplayer maps don't work for some reason. Credit goes to another in mapping forum for this, but you need to put a SOLID brush in your level with the texture system/outside. YOur rain entity can be placed anywhere, but it will only rain INSIDE of any brushes you have that outside texture on. You can make it so only some of your level gets rain (by putting the brushes inside your level at various areas) or put a big box around your level to get it to rain in the whole thing. When I did it, it looked kinda cheesy, and the rain kept changing directions, as if it were coming from a tornado! TDS
