aazell
Hey All I've been playing with JO Rad for a few weeks and created a few spankingly good Duel Levels (well by my standards anyway). I'm having a bit of a problem creating large cylinder shaped rooms though. I create a cylinder in Radient but I can't hollow it and textures only appear on the outside? How do I create a room using a primative shape? Thats about it really apart from to say that the methods I've seen listed on this forum for a falling death do not work. I've created my dammage trigger and set the Key value to "dmg" and the other value to -1 but my player just falls through the trigger and has a little health removed then hits the floor. Yes my trigger is coving the whole area that they fall through. Oh and should I just copy and paste my prefabs into my maps or is there an easier way to bring them in. Obviously they are saved as map files and you can only have one of those open at a time. any hints? Jim
JeGGoR
For your cylinder shaped room, you only have to create a brush, and to select the following: BRUSH->ARBITRARY SIDED->? You will be asked a number of sides... Enter something like 20 and you'll have an usual brush, with a cylinder shape
Tigris
Or you just select the brush you made and hit CTRL+I... then the Texture should be on the right side...
