What's wrong with this picture?

DFA spammer.

 

DFA spammer comes after me. I avoid his lame attacks, and right when he hits the ground I run up behind his unprotected back and take a swing.

 

And die.

 

He's obviously done a backward attack.

 

Why am *I* dead and he isn't? I run right up behind his crouching, unprotected backside and swing at him and suddently *I* am the one that's dead?

 

WTF?

Get the patch, that's a bug that has been fixed. If you have the patch, then you must be jumping on him to soon or to late.

I have the patch, and it was my own server this happened on so it wasn't lag.

 

The problem is its happened more than once, and I'm just trying to figure out WHY.

unrelated situation... in your case, your blow was actually deflected, in this case it sounds like he was killed before he actually made contact with his blade...

I happens to me too sometimes, can't figure out what's wrong in my movies.

 

He runs towards me, i strafe\turn around\swing at his back and i'm dead, whitch it's rather irritating

The situations are very much related. We both got scammed our kills by unknown (and impossible) reasons.

maybe the guy made a sidekick? my mate is sometimes able to do a sidekick after a dfa, although i'm comming from behind (sounds gay )
