Kari Reznor Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 Ive already made several different skins with a quality par to the game itself but i require assistance on getting them to work. What fils structure and other files apart from the psp files do i need in the folders. Please help.
Nanodagiardino Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 The best way to understand skin pk3 file format and content is to download one from JKII and examine what is in it! Anyway the folder structure looks like this [myskin].pk3 ...including... models folder ----> players folder ----> [myskin] folder scripts folder botfiles folder other folders (shaders, etc) You have to put all your jpg or tga files into the [myskin] folder along with a file called myskin.skin (which is used to tell the game where to find the textures). The real important folder si the models folders, you only need the other folders if you want to add bot support, shaders, sounds, etc... You really should read the raven readme file on skins, included with the JKII tools.
