CoreyGH
Hi, i've got this problem in single player mode that only popped up after the patch. Whenever there is a playermodel of some type on the screen (be it the enemy NPCs or even your own in 3rd person) my frame rates drop into the crapper, i'm talkin from 50s down to low teens. But if I manage to kill everyone i can see, and drop into 1st person, the problem goes away. Ideas? RedXian
Do you find this is happening at any particular place? Like say, when you have to protect Lando? That's where is happening for me.
CoreyGH
Nope, everywhere, even in the new demo

Cal-Gon Gin
They also use different configs, so changes made to geometry and textures in one do not affect the other. Hi Bar-Bar!
CoreyGH
Ok, i figured it out, it was the volumetric shadows that did it. Never had a problem with them before the patch, oh well.
