dogrover Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 Hey all, I've been trying out the GTKRadiant 1.2.8-jk2. How do I create a realistic looking sky? Whenever I apply a sky texture to the ceiling, all I see are tiled copies of that texture when I start up the level. Thanks! DOGrover
JANg0_Fett Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 Well try going to the texture menu and then select texture properties, im not sure if thats it, but its about half way down the list and open it while you have the sky selected and click fit
GidionTheDead Posted May 16, 2002 Posted May 16, 2002 push "s", while you have the skybox/brush/object selected and enter this into the texture line: skies/yavin skies/kejim (?) skies/bespin skies/stars They appear as blue/black textures, but they appear as sky in the game. (It works, if the console reads something like this: \"skies/stars" not found, replacing with generic "skies/stars") Gidion, a.k.a. Dalboz
