Malfunctioning Dismemberment

Hey.

 

I just finished JK2. There was something that bothered me through-out the whole thing though. I'd seen plently of screenies of stormtroppers who'd been decapitated or cut up, but the only thing I can ever get to come off are hands and arms.

 

I have dismemberment enabled. Why is it only doing arms?

 

I have a P4 1.6 Ghz

with 256 MB DDR RAM

and a Geforce 2 MX

 

Any ideas?

umm, there is a patch to fix your problem, check the files section.

The general consensus seems to be that the patch sucks all high hell. I'm very relunctant to install it...

 

Is there a command in the exe file I can edit to turn it on, or something? Console command?

g_saberrealisticcombat 1

 

 

 

That will make any limbs come off.

Well, my last post considered v1.02 only. The dismemberment patch doesn't work for v1.03, even the cheatcodes "helpusobi...." won't work in sp.

 

I've tried everything (g_dismemberment 3, g_dismemberprobabilities 0, g_saberrealisticbattle 1, ui_iscencored 0). Nothing seems to work.

 

But the dismemberment in mp works perfect for some reason (g_dismember 99, cg_dismember 100).
