Andrewfus_SMC Posted May 16, 2002 Share Posted May 16, 2002 suddenly, for no reason, i cannot get multiplayer to start up. it just hangs at the screen right before the logo or the main menu if i want to start a bot game. i uninstalled it, and reinstalled it. i have tried to start it in safe mode. i can start single player fine.. but mulitplayer just hangs there. what should i do? it was working fine this afternoon. well.. thats not true. sometimes, as soon as i would start an online game or even a bot game, the whole game would hang up. i couldnt ALT F4 out of it or anything. had to do a hard reset. im getting kinda ticked. can someone help me out? Torin Posted May 16, 2002 Share Posted May 16, 2002 I had this problem 2 days ago, I tried uninstall/reinstall, didn't fix it, then I started a 1-player game, closed out, went back to multiplayer and it was working fine again... although this was in conjunction with some video settings changes... Try setting Fullscreen Mode to No, that way you can close the JO window if it crashes.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
