how do u put in lights (i know im new)

Im really frustrated:mad: and confused:confused: about how u put in lights. if uv got tips, please tell me

Press ESC in the 2D view to unhighlight everything, then right click and select "light."

 

If you don't see "light" that means you didn't install JKRadiant correctly... there are a few other posts on that if you can find them (or if someone else knows where one is).

I see what you mean by new, here, go to this site. It really helped me get off the ground. I know it's not for JK2Radient, but hey, they're both the same, just different textures. Hope this helps!
