Encisco
I am nearing the point where I will texture my map. I threw on some textures for the heck of it to place the lights, but the walls/floor and ceilings are extremely blurry; stretched textures. I have checked all the tut's and I haven't found anything that would help me, so I'm asking the comunity for help. If you need me to post pics of these textures, I will, but Im' sure you've seen them at some point. Is there something I should be doing when texturing? I would appreciate any help. RichDiesal
It's really, basically, just screwing around with the settings in the surface inspector (Ctrl-Shift-click a surface and press S) I personally just click "Fit" (for Fit to face of brush) and then mess with it from there... Encisco
Hey, thanks. That mostly fixed it. Will just play around more. Guess there isn't an easy way out of anything
UniKorn
Well, most of the time there is an easy way getting out of your pants, apart from some "special" moments when you just are too nervous
Walther
Easy visual shortcut here: select a surface Ctrl-Shift-Click and then stretch your texture using Ctrl-arrow key of your choice. Couldn't tell you which way it stretches them here but play with the different arrow keys. The surface inspector (s) allows you to change the scale at which they are stretched each time, I thouroughly recommend changing it since otherwise you will never be able to get your texture right. This is also a handy method for reversing textures - just put in a minus value.
