RelFexive
Basically, how do you do them? I'm putting one in my Ice Cave thread but at the moment you can walk right through it. How do you make it properly solid and reflect blasters like in the SP game?
Darchon
I have a posting on this thread on how to make a texture reflect blaster shots by making a shader for it. Mayby it can help you too.
RelFexive
Possibly. I'm not sure I want to mess with stuff that much, though; I'd prefer to use what's there rather than adding to it. I'm far more concerned with the solidity issue. The brush is 'nodraw' on all side except for the forcefield one and you can go right through it. How can I stop this happening? Cmdr. Antilles
Nodraw is solid. Use 'cushion' instead. Or better yet, I think there's a 'system/nodraw_solid' shader that would work better.
RelFexive
So keep the front as 'forcefield' and make every other side 'nodraw_solid'? And that will make the brush a solid forcefield?
