mrjake Posted May 18, 2002 Share Posted May 18, 2002 so i made a simple box, with textures a player start and a light, i saved it, then i ran the bsp_fullvis. the console shows me this... Writing the compile script to 'C:\DOCUME~1\MREFE6~1.JAK\LOCALS~1\Temp\qe3bsp.bat' The build output will be saved in 'C:\DOCUME~1\MREFE6~1.JAK\LOCALS~1\Temp\junk.txt' Running bsp command... thats it, i let the dos command finish its job, close radiant, play a mp game. when i type devmap (mapname) it gives me the message "cant find map maps/(mapname).bsp i believe im supposed to check to see if the bsp_fullvis was sucessfull, i cant find the junk.txt or the qe3bsp.bat file in the path it says... help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

James Smart Posted May 18, 2002 Share Posted May 18, 2002 Hi, I had the same problem but this worked for me. Previously I had installed JK2Radiant and this seemed to cause a problem with the new GTK Radiant. There is a file with the same name that you need to simply drag out of the gamedata/base folder so that when you re-install GTK Radiant it writes a fresh copy of the file in its place.
