so i made a simple box, with textures a player start and a light, i saved it, then i ran the bsp_fullvis.

the console shows me this...

Writing the compile script to 'C:\DOCUME~1\MREFE6~1.JAK\LOCALS~1\Temp\qe3bsp.bat'

The build output will be saved in 'C:\DOCUME~1\MREFE6~1.JAK\LOCALS~1\Temp\junk.txt'

Running bsp command...

thats it, i let the dos command finish its job, close radiant, play a mp game.

when i type devmap (mapname) it gives me the message "cant find map maps/(mapname).bsp

i believe im supposed to check to see if the bsp_fullvis was sucessfull, i cant find the junk.txt or the qe3bsp.bat file in the path it says...

Hi,

I had the same problem but this worked for me.

Previously I had installed JK2Radiant and this seemed to cause a problem with the new GTK Radiant.

There is a file with the same name that you need to simply drag out of the gamedata/base folder so that when you re-install GTK Radiant it writes a fresh copy of the file in its place. The file is called, 'mapextras.pk3'. Hope that helps. It worked for me.:)
