TheGreenMonkey
Are you trying to load them in single player? Multiplayer? Are you trying to connect to a server? This sounds like an error connecting to a multiplayer server, same thing happens with Quake 2. If you have a different version of a map than the server does, it's impossible to keep you in sync with a game on the server, since the two maps are different. If you think about it, it just wouldn't work, if your version was missing a wall where the server’s version had one... For this reason, the server will not let you connect to a game with a different version of a map. What could have caused this? If you recompiled a new version of a map, it will generate a different hash number. Or one of your files may be corrupted, and need to be reinstalled. UniKorn
You are using gtkradiant I suppose. I think you are using the wrong version of it, or you didn't say that it should be jk2 editing. That means that you will be using the q3map instead of the sof2map.exe => q3map writes a different version number to the bsp than sof2map. Try reinstalling gtkrad 1.2.
