qibbish Posted May 20, 2002 Share Posted May 20, 2002 Regarding mods (not full conversions, but things like updated moves), skins and models, what happens if I join a server as the only person with these additions installed? 1) Will other players see my changes or will they exist solely on the client side? I would assume they would be client side only, but I have to wonder. 2) assuming it is client side, what would others see if I chose to use an entirely new model? Question is, I know some servers download maps if you don't have them, does this process work for models and skins other players utilize ? Or does it only work for server side content.
