unwrap UVW in Gmax?

I can't get my textures to show up in md3view, they work fine in Gmax, but once I export the file into .md3 format and look at it in md3view, the textures are missing.

It's a sabre model, nothing fancy, and it's an editable mesh (duh!), do I have to do anything special to it before I export it? Or perhaps uncheck some options in the export pop up?

 

Any help would be nice...

 

Oh, and I do apologize if this question has already been asked elsewhere. With the search function down, well...:o
