Hello there ladies and gents,

 

As most of you know my next project after "The Dueling Room" is creating a very nice map simply known as "The Rave House". The setting is inside someone's during a sort of rave party. Which means strobe lights everywhere , blacklights (if i can get em to look cool enough) and some extreme detail when it comes to certain areas of the house. Currently, there are three floors of the map: a downstairs area, an upstairs, and an attic area where I will have the epicenter of the rave party with something like a bar or the like. Also currently, I'm only on the first floor of the map still... Need to add a little more room and one or two more rooms to it, but I should be done with that soon and be ready to move upstairs and start there. I'd say in about a day or so you can expect some beta screenshots over at http://jedioutcastmaps.com, as I will most likely be sending a beta copy over to those guys to have at it. Anyways, i figgered for my second map I'd do something rather unheard of (I mean come on a house? Who makes a house for petes sake ). I might later on expand this so you can go outside of the house and have an outside area as well, with say a swimming pool with strobe lights in it :-D Anyways..... Hope you all will enjoy this map.. It definitely has been interesting creating it thus far as I've had to learn myself a little gmax to make some models for detail. Well that's about all I have.... if you have any neato suggestions for map detailing, lemme know ok? Lataz!

I think I've been to that rave...Anyhow, an outside would be sweet, especially with a pool. I think I mentioned this earlier, but it needs a bathroom just because. Just a few suggestions: Add a computor room with, get this, JK2 showing on the screen. How nuts would that be? BTW, there is a sofa prefab over at jedioutcastmaps.com . That may be of some use to you. Hrmm....Maybe have basement too. I dunno. I'll think about it some more. Best of luck to you. Happy mapping!

Thanks for your suggestions Danny, I am already using the sofa in the room with the big tv but a basement or cellar would be shiza sweet too. The outside probably won't happen until after the map is released and then i'll make a newer version of it. Computer room sounds sweet *remember he has a computer prefab* .
