Guest lightbulba Posted June 22, 2000 Share Posted June 22, 2000 you can do it yourself, if you use these six easy steps: 1. put the racer cd in, but click "exit to windows" when it prompts you to play. 2. open windows explorer and go to your d drive. 3. open the "gnome" folder. 4. open the "data" folder. 5. from here, go to "wavs" and depending on what you want the sound quality to be (most likely 22k), go to the respective folder. 6. go to the "voice" folder, at which point you should look at each of the files beginning with "ggsp". it's really quite easy. ------------------ <font size="1"> [This message has been edited by lightbulba (edited June 21, 2000).] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Galdarin the Goldfish Posted June 22, 2000 Share Posted June 22, 2000 I can't because I have the Mac version... when I switch out of the game, be it on the menu or during a paused race, the files stay exactly as they are. Everything is stuffed into some weird files, I can't extract the sounds from the file that apparently contains them, "sounds.map". I reeeaallly want Gasgano's sounds.
