-[Wolf]-[Tom]-
Ok, I took the first step in what I see to be the way to get into modelling - I got Discreet's 3DS Max 4.2. Good move right? So I load it up, and I really don't know where to start. I'm not about to ask someone to explain how the program works, because that'd be too time consuming, so if someone could tell me of a site where I can learn some things, possibly even follow a step by step guide to create something simple, then I'd be truly grateful. Many thanks, Tom

malinkie
To start. Polycount 3D Cafe Books are your best source though... if you want to spend money. Modelling a Character In 3DSMax by Paul Steed is a really good book if you want to learn player modelling. there are also others if you look. Hope this helps
