Screenshots

Im having a hell of a time getting in game screenshots. The print screen button only gets me static like a TV with poor reception.

 

Is there another way to get a good screen?

bring down the console

and type

bind x screenshot (where 'x' is the key u want to use)

then press the button u assigned it to

eg: this is mine

bind f12 screenshot

so when i press f12 it takes one

You just post into Photoshop or something from there right? Or does it go into a folder somewhere?

it goes into your "screenshot" folder buried down deep in the program folder for jk2, and is saved as a jpg file. you can open it in whatever program of your choice from there.

 

also, i think if you type silent after the bind "X" screenshot thing in the console, it'll take the screenshot without the words in the upper left of the picture telling you that the screenshot was taken. somebody correct me on this if i'm wrong.

You're right

If you want to remove all stuff from the screen as well type

cg_draw2D 0

cg_drawGun 0

 

and then take your screenshot.
