Posted May 22, 2002 Share Posted May 22, 2002 get the .pk3 file (called test.pk3) Rename test.pk3 to test.pk3.zip Extract the contents (should be scripts, models and botfiles) Open up models, open the players file inside of models then rename the name of the model. E.G. for test.pk3 it will be models/players/test If you want to play as test in SP rename it to model/players/kyle You can replace kyle with any SP model such as jan, tavion, morgan, desann etc Zip the files (botfiles, models, scripts) and rename the zip file to sp_test.pk3 or whatever. Just make sure the file extension is .pk3 Put in in the Gamedata/base folder in your Jedi Knight 2 directory. That's it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

D.L. but could you tell me this to ??????? Converting a pk3 to a zip is simple. Simple rename it. (MAke sure file extensions are visible. To make thme visible, go into My Computer---->Tools---->Folder Options---->View then uncheck the "Hide files extensions for known file types" box) Download Winzip at http://www.winzip.com There's a read me there. If you have Windows XP simply highlight the 3 folders (models, scripts, botfiles) and then right click on one of them and then go to add to zip. This will create a zip file called more than likely, botfiles.zip (could be models.zip or scripts.zip) Just rename this zip file to skin.pk3 It doesn't matter what the file is called as long as a) It's not already in use (ie assets0.pk3 etc) and b) it ends in .pk3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
