I am running this firewall on my dedicated server (becuase its cheap) and I had it working just fine for a long time. I had the specific ports open that needed to be. So the funny thing is that once I updated to the new patch and new dedicated server it stopped working. The dedicated server console indicated that it could not use the port. If I disable Norton Firewall then it works. Nothing has changed on my firewall configuration. I even opened more ports and still no good. :confused: Any ideas? Thanx!
geronimo27 Posted May 23, 2002 Posted May 23, 2002 Before i switched my server box to linux, i had run it with win2k and norton security 2000 - 2002. Sometimes with a new patch you have to redefine the applications allowed on certain ports. what version of NS do you have?
