Also thanks for correcting a couple of my mistakes ;)

 

I would appreciate your help as this is holding up the rest of my map.

I am using the breakable object to trigger the lightning simulating electric arcs which trigger a counter that activates another switch to open the main hatch......

 

very complicated target/name things ;(

Well...you can target fx_runners from doors and buttons...I don;t see why it would not work from a func_breakable - though I've never tried that yet..

 

Select the func_breakable then select the fx_runner and hit CTRL + K see what happens.....sounds like it should work.
