Woodster2003 Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 OK, im new to mapping, and im trying to put a heavy repeater in my map, but when i get the entity up, there is no skin on it, it just shows up as a red box in the 3d view. Could somebody point me to a tutorial or something? Thanks!

Cmdr. Antilles Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 You're probably using the SP def files, instead of the MP one like you should be. Go to File > Load Project, and load starwarsmp.qe4 Then, close JK2R, restart it, and place your entities again. Should do the trick.

Tigris Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 Just open it, delete all the items, replace them with the MP items and you should be going.
Cmdr. Antilles Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 Whoops, guess I wasn't clear enough... Just delete the weapon/ammo/health pickups. Normal brushes, and most func's, triggers, etc are fine, and will transfer over to MP quite nicely.
RichDiesal Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 The only trigger to keep a lookout for is trigger_hurt... if you have any fade-to-death areas in SP (with dmg 500 and FALLING and LOCKCAM flags set) you'll need to remove all the flags and simply set dmg to -1 for MP.
