hard to say...does it provide an error message?

It could be safedisc related. It could be a bad cr-rom drive, it could be a dirty CD-rom drive.

I had a game that would not install, so I tried copying it to the hard drive and then installing. It took over 2 hours for the files to copy. Turned out later I had a bad CD-ROM drive, and this particular disc really gave it trouble.

When I tried to copy it, it gave me an error about I/O or something... I d/led BlindRead and I dont see how it would help... It makes copies of CD's so that you can write them to another CD... not use them to install :( Help plz

Though it may seem that a file on your CD is corrupted, this could easily be a symptom of a CD drive than cannot read the JK2 cd. This situation can lead any number of install errors such as hangs, CRC errors and "invalid 32-bit application" messages. If you can't copy the contents of the CD to your hard drive, and can't use an app like BlindRead or CloneCD (unlikely if you can't copy to hard drive), then chances are your CD drive will never be able to handle the copy-protection on the JK2 CD. That's why, as happens so many times, it wont' install on one computer but install fine on another.

The best and least expensive drives that have good success with new game cds are late-model DVD-ROM drives.
