Some of the moves ei: Backstab. would cause the saber or to go through the cloak. Other little things would make it buggy. I suppose if you dont have a problem with such bugs you could do it. Isn't there like.. some way you could just keep the cloak or whatever close enough to the body to avoid the bug?
