Increasing/decreasing map size..

Alright, I have my map, but, I am realizing a little too late it is not quite large enough. It's my Outrider map. I suppose I could start over and do it better with what I've learned, maybe, but, is there a way to increase the maps size so I don't have to start over?

No, that's not the problem. The ship is too small. The inside is REALLY cramped. I'll redo it if I need to, see if I can make it better, but, I don't want to. If I do, though, I think I could optimize it and get the scale more correct... I don't think there is any way to increase the size of the ship without everything messing up.. I need some better screenshots and I'll start over, I think.

Did you try scaling it? I have done that a few times. It will leave some bugs, but they can usually be fixed without to much problem. It's at least worth a try, it works well about 80% of the time.

Select the entire thing, then scale the x, y and z. If you want it 25% bigger, use 1.25...etc.

Hey Xcom...you joined the dark side to eh? Hehe

You are truly on the dark side, aren't you? This will probably ruin everything or at least set everything off grid. :D

It may work for a simple brushwork but it seems impossible for a (semi-)complex stuff. Do at your own risk. ;P

Na...I did it for entire maps before :D CTF_VOR1 for Elite Force was exactly 25% smaller then the released version. As long as things were made on the grid, a 25% increase won't hurt...odd number increases though, will mess things totally...like 24% would screw it. Although, be weary of brushes that are less then 4 units, they will not work out and will need to be adjusted back to the grid. And, if it doesn't work, he was going to re-do it anyways ;)
