Error message: Unsupported marker type 0xa7

Hi, after installing the 1.03 patch, i tried connecting to servers and i get this message from the majority of the servers...the error part is at the bottom. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

I can only tell you what what causing these errors on my system and how the problem was solved.

 

You're using an Intel system. Are you also using a program called the Intel Application Accelerator? This program, which is essentially bus mastering drivers, seems to conflict or corrupt data, when JKII levels/maps load.

 

As soon as I uninstalled this program, and reverted to the drivers for my OS (WinMe), the Unsupported Marker Type errors stopped completely.

i have a intel p4 1.8gigahertz but i've never used intel application accelerator. any other programs you know of that will corrupt the data? thanks for the help.

 

is version 6 and 7 conflict just mean that the other servers haven't updated to the 1.03 patch?
