Ok it is actually quite simple....

 

1)

Load the existing .bsp map file (the multiplayer level) from the assets0.pk3, which you can open with WinZip, with a de-compilier (which has yet to be programmed) and you get a map file.

 

2)

Now select each surface of the level (including the hidden surfaces just around 1 or 2 thousands) and add the original texture again, for the de-compiling will strip the map of all texture data.

 

3)

Afterwards remove all multiplayer only map_objects and replace them with NPCs and Single player items/map_objects.

 

(If Raven will release the original map files in a few month, you can moce on to step three, without decompiling...)
