Interesting GTK compile problem

Hello all.

 

When I compile my map in gtk, I can only see so far and I see grey void after that. Its just like when I use the 3d view in the actual editor, but I'm seeing this in the game.

 

I was using novis/nolight and my project setting is using the quake3v3.qe4 file. It won't let me use Starwars.qe4 or StarwarsMP.qe4 otherwise the compile menu disappears.

 

I've read that this is cubic clipping in the editor but I don't know of any option to turn it off.
