Gmax anyone?

2 questions:

 

1) Has anyone out there had any experience using GMax from Discreet? It's a freeware version of their 3ds Max software for the modding community.

2) Does anyone on the Raven side of things plan on working with Discreet to make a game pack (there's already one for Q3 but I don't know if it is compatible) for Gmax?
