twitch Posted June 1, 2002 Posted June 1, 2002 Using GtkRadiant 1.2.9 to compile. Using sky texture that come with JK2, I do a compile and then I have no light in the map, isn't the shader for the sky suppose to light the map? its pitch black. Also, what does everyone compile their maps with? hope you can help

GidionTheDead Posted June 1, 2002 Posted June 1, 2002 You must set the "worldspawn" variables "ambient" "100" and "_color" "1 1 1" This will give the map normal (day)light. You must use the following textures for skyboxes: skies/bespin skies/kejim_light skies/yavin skies/... These textures are not in the JKRadiant list!!! (Open the sky.shader with a text editor to look for other skies.)
