fx runners

first extract the effects directory from the assets0 and put it in your base dir.

 

in radiant, create an fx runner. hit n and bring up the entity list, and type in fxFile for the key and a value like

 

"effects/env/fire.efx"

 

i forget if the effects is really needed or not, i don't think it is. anyways, then you should have an fxrunner. there some other options on it like pointing the fxrunner at a target (i haven't figured that out yet) and the like. it's a fairly simple entity to use though.

 

btw, played your sp level (a little bit of it), it's a bit hard to see where you have to go in the beginning. and framerates did drop rather low. it looks good though. keep going!
