What is EU?

Basically, Expanded Universe includes all of the games, books and fan fictions that are about Star Wars. Most try to be as accurate as possible, but most also fail miserably... Such is the case of the myths about Boba Fett's history... Talk to some of the other forum-goers if your interested...

P.S. You'll understand the name part of my login name once you hear one of Fett's supposed histories

The Extended Universe takes place in a universe parallel to the Star Wars universe as we know it in the movies (or are innacurate myths supposedly written thousands of years after the fact). The vast majority of them detail events after Return of the Jedi.

Yah, there are just too many contradictions with the EU.

1)Boba Fetts real name isn't Jaster Mereal

2)He did not aquire his armour from the mandolorian supercomandos after the clone wars, he got it from his father shortly before the clone wars

3)Owen Lars in NOT obi wans brother!!!

4)Clones do Not get "clone madness" when on accelerated growth programs *

*from Heir to the empire

Maybe they do? We haven't seen years of existance for the clones in Ep2 yet, as that is yet to be written.

Well, considering it would take a LONG time to perfect a process of cloning, and that the Kaminoans are noted (or were noted) for their great skill in cloning, and that they have been producing clones and clone armies for a while (Lama Su says that the army created for the Republic "is one of our best yet")... I think they'd know if the clones went mad by now.

Episode 2 quote:

"We used growth accelerators, but it still took a long time to create mentally stable clones."

(So there is a hint of clone madness in Episode 2)

And Zahn's book (the only EU books that deserve to be read) say that the clone masters of old... bla bla bla... They didn't speak about Clone warlords.

I've seen the movie three times and never noticed this line. If you got it from the SW2 novelization, I'm not buying it--the novelizations are as apocryphal as anything else EU. Salvatore is a SW author, and it's his job to square the movies with the book--though Lucas does give him some info about his characters' thought processes and some background information, blahblahblah, that doesn't mean his book is canon. The RotJ novelization is among the most contradicted SW books so far.
