Gif
All of a sudden in JKIIradiant and Gtkradiant when i go to compile the dos box comes up for a split second then dissapears. I goto JKII and devmap my map and it is the last one that i compiled... Any ideas whats going on here?
volrathxp
did you check your Junk.txt to see if there was a problem? Check that and post your results here. volrath
Dingo
I get the exact same problem, I compiled my first map no problem. I compiled my second map with a little bit of problems, I loaded a new project and exited JKIIradiant. I re opened raidant and loaded my second map again and it compiled fine. Now I am on to my third map and I can't compile anymore. The bad thing about it is that I cannot find junk.txt on my hard drive (using the search function). I don't know why junk.txt does not show up on my computer.
simarilius
junk.txt should be in your windows\temp\ directory. If the bsp process fails it will leave the file generated by the last successful compile there, hence when you lood the map in jkII its the old one. PainGod
Remove radiant from your system and reinstall. It has happened to me b4 and that was the only solution I ever found.

fabrikashon
How much ram do you have, and how big is the map you are trying to compile?
Gif
392 megs of ram and its a small one room duel map without much lighting yet
fabrikashon
Hmm. Have you checked to make sure it's not actually just going out of focus? It happens to me but doesn't stop compiling. If you look at the start menu it's down there. But it's also completely dissapeared on me too. That was memory related though :/
