made a quick mod for gunners

Well, I'm still exploring that stuff and I'm not the great C-Coder.

But I think I managed it to create a serverside mod for gunners and speed-lovers :).

Weapons

 

Repeater

-alt fires works like the cr primary fire in jk1

-max ammo units 500 instead of 300

-splash radius higher

-direct hit causes a little more damage

-longer delay between shots

-alt costs 15 units per shot

-primary fire costs 2 units per shot, little less damage

 

Demp or whatever

-primary fire causes a little more damage

 

Rocketlauncher

-has 5 rockets instead of 3 (ammopacks still 3)

 

I didn't mess with the saber yet, too much code for me, lol

 

 

Force

 

-speed and seeing take 15 units of 100 instead 50(lol) and 20

-removed the delay beween switching on/off passive force powers, like speed, seeing, absorb (always thought it was lag, lol)

-drain takes a little less force energie (makes no difference actually)

-heal takes a little less force energie (same)

 

 

Armor

 

-Armor gives 200 units (max 200) instead of 100

(Well, I don't know if 200 is too much, just thinking of jk1, lol)

-small armor goes up to max 200 instead of max 100

-Armor respawn time is 30 instead of 20 sec

I made a small mod myself. One that does almost the exact opposite of your's. :) Mine slows down all projectile weapons, made them a little stronger, and made the disruptor weaker. You can now outrun laser blasts from the blaster rifle, and run even with your rockets and so on.

 

Now, for why I made this, I was bored, and I was looking through the source. (Anyone else notice the abundance of funny comments?) And I changed the velocity of these weapons (partly due to the mini-tutorial) and thus, this little easy mod.

 

I don't have it hosted, because the server I usually upload to is being moved around a lot and I can't really log in to it yet.

 

I'll email it to anyone that wants to look at it though.

me'n Atomic_Shaft are workin on a lil sumthin sumthin to emmulate JK1's gameplay.

 

He's got a conc and a rail with sticky shots down, ive made a bunch of lil changes, gonna tackle force jump tonight.

 

Adding somthing = crapload harder than modifying somthing already there. Gonna take the plunge tonight with ;asdjf'n jump.

 

Inferno u speed up the base player speed too?
