willum Posted June 10, 2002 Share Posted June 10, 2002 set bot_enable "1" // this enables bots set bot_minplayers "1" //the number here is how many bots you want on the server as compaired to the number of clients. So in other words, if I set bot_minplayers "5" the server would have 5 bots on the server all the time. If a client connects one of the bots get kicked by the server. ultralightning Posted June 12, 2002 Author Share Posted June 12, 2002 how make the bots like more powerful.... eg they are not standing around shooting a gun at u, while u deflect all the shots back at him... eg u can grip the guy and throw him to the pit... such and such.. is there any way to make them crazy ass bots, where u can make them act like a real pro, that would whoop ass... There is also a server variable with a default bot skill level that escapes me. If you set bot_minplayers too low, you will not get bots once your server gets more players on it but if you set it too high, you'll have a server full of bots running around until enough players connect to kick them. Also is this to be typed in the console on the dedicated server or can this be typed in from a console while playing the game?
