well, i suppose it would be. all u'd have to do is play with the images a bit, and rework that saber-colour-cycle code everso slightly, and that would do what u want, altho the saber would still act as if it were full length (ie it would kill people with the invisible bit) and it would replace all the saber colours with just one colour, cos what u would do is replace each saber with a blue one, and vary the length of the coloured bit within the image, then when u cycle saber colors it would look like it was changing the length of the blade. theres probably a better way to do this in the code itself tho, maybe changing the saber length from a constant to a variable and map a key to change this variable, i dunno.
