Game crashes when I reach Yavin Swamp

Help! When I reach Yavin Swamp, the game crashed to the desktop after a few minutes. This also happens for Yavin Canyon. Is it the fog or something? Because all other levels work very well. What is strange is that the few minutes that Yavin Swamp works, it runs very smoothly without glitches. Could anyone please help me out? Thanks.

 

I have a P4 1.6 Gigabytes, and a S3 SavageProDDR 3D card. Please help me out!

I too have this problem. One time, it kicked me to that opening window (the one with the yellow lettering) if it helps, here's the code it spat at me:

I would really like to play this game past the doomgiver's blowing up. Any suggestions? I'm on an AMD Athlon 1.4Ghz, 768mb PC-133 Ram, NVIDIA GeForce 3 Ti video card and Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Sound card running win98SE under DirectX8.1.
