|Elite|Odyssey|
I have noticed that hose users routed by a Linksys Router cannot play on 1.03, therefor making them play on 1.02. Thsi has been confirmed by Lucas Arts and it seems they are doing nothing about it... Is anyone as oturaged as I?
Mercen4ry
--shrug-- I've heard of this bug before and run a linksys router as well, but have never experienced any of the said problems with 1.03. Maybe it's a bug with certain versions of the router, possibly the more firewall-oriented models?
AndyTX
Ok I have a Linksys DSL Router... absolutely no issues here with joining or hosting... are you sure this is true? I've never even had any problems with any of the other Linksys routers either. Besides, even games that "don't work" right away are fixable. If you know enough abotu networking, the Linksys routers have way more settings tham you need to get ANY game to work correctly. If you need any help, tell me. Also, read the help stuff on the routers. Also, Lucasarts has CLEARLY documented the port ranges that JKII uses. If all else fails, you can always just forward those ports through the router with no issues.
