ExarKun89 Posted June 6, 2002 Share Posted June 6, 2002 Er.....I want to build my model around a skeleton (Tim model guide thingy) but I don't know how to get the skeleton. I imported the root.xsi skeleton but it is kyle's model and not just the skeleton....Can you guys clarify this for me? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

PsykoSith Posted June 8, 2002 Share Posted June 8, 2002 another way to do this: 1.double click the pelvis bone (not plevis_1) this will select the full skeleton, when ur done, hide it. note: press H in max to popup the selection menu. 2.Next select the tags (they are named bolt_fl_hip etc.) make sure you dont select the others named with _1 or _2 at the end, cuz there's at least 3 skeletons in there and 3 sets of tags. After they're all selected, hide them. 3.Repeat the process for stupidtriangleoff, meshroot and model_root. 4.Once you have hidden all that stuff, select everything left in the viewport: meshes tags, bones, meshroot...etc, and hit delete. 5.Hit the unhide all button, and you are left with the skeleton and tags for LOD 0. did that make sense??? or am i crazy?
