I believe that if you're going to work on a place like Coruscant you must do it with style or not do it at all. I'm still stuck with compiling large maps. It gives me ambient light when I exceed a certain amount of light grid arrays. Others ought to have the same trouble with large maps. I'm still looking for answers. Still, I am making a rather big map with lots of buildings, platforms, hover-traffic ect. It will be at a time where the Empire rules. It looks cool thus far. RichDiesal Posted June 7, 2002 Share Posted June 7, 2002 Ehh... Best tactic for a map is to compile it fairly often... so that you know there aren't any huge screwups when you get to the end... Plus remember, JK2 doesn't handle huge outdoor areas all that well... if you want any sort of decent framerate, it'd be highly in your best interest to compile it as you go so that you know what the framerate is in this "big map" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
