Help on skinning, making the .pk3 and what files to include.

I just extracted the "Kyle" files from the assets0.pk3. I recolored all the .jpg's of the "Kyle" skin to my "Undead Kyle" skin.

 

I need to know what files i should include in the .pk3 and how I should rename them, I dunno if i was supposed to put in more stuff than just the images.

 

Also, when i tried to create a zip/pk3 file with everything, the path was always blank. I did the "add wildcards" thing and checked "include subfolders". I have no idea what i am doing wrong. But that was just a test.

if you rename the files, you also have to rename the files inside the default_skin file, just open it up in word.

 

Use powerarchiver, its better than winzip.

Thanks, i didn't know i was supposed to edit the .skin files.

I think im stupid or something. I still can't get the paths to work though. Is there a way to write out the paths manually?
